Karen has had several articles published nationally and has served as consultant and editor for the development of a dog training manual and has authored a pet column for a semi-monthly newspaper and a quarterly humane society magazine. In addition, she has used her expertise in dog behavior and dog-owner dynamics to develop and write OBEDIENCE PLUS, the Behavior and Temperament Course for Dogs, More OBEDIENCE PLUS, advanced training for the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen certification and as a prerequisite for Pet Therapy. Other curriculum she has written are, Puppy Parenting 101, Kids and K-nines and Fun and Games for Dogs and their People and co-authored Special Needs Obedience, She is currently at work on her book, MR. GOODPUPPY AND THE WELLMEANINGS: A Study on Preventing and Correcting Problem Behavior in Dogs.
