During her professional career, Karen has personally trained, instructed or counseled thousands of dogs and their owners. In the 70s, she pioneered and brought to Cleveland relationship-based and motivational training as well as clicker training. She has written curriculum for and taught many training courses throughout her career and has trained other domestic pets, (i.e. cats, pigs, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds etc.). Karen has appeared on numerous television and radio talk shows as a dog behavior expert and has done several television commercials and print ads with dogs. Karen has also been featured in all major Cleveland newspapers. She has also served as canine behavior specialist for the Veterinary Referral Clinic of Cleveland. Over 200 veterinarians throughout Ohio have referred their difficult behavior cases to her.
