Karen has been training dogs since 1957, instructing dog training since 1965 and specializing in dog behaviors since 1972. Her sub-specialties since 1978 are the diagnosis and treatment of aggression and hyperactivity. Karen received an award for the highest level of academic achievement when she graduated from dog training school in 1972. She studied psychology and behavior at the University of New Hampshire. In addition, Karen has studied canine neurophysiology and physiological behavior disorders and has attended many canine and feline behavior and training clinics and seminars throughout her adult life and all over the country.
